McGuckin Hardware

I came in to ask about carb cleaner for a Stihl chainsaw that wouldn't start. Ryan, who works in the garden deparrtment, told me that if I wanted to bring the saw by, he'd tinker with it and see what might be causing our issues. He spent 20-30 minutes working on it (with no labor charge), fitting it with a new spark plug and recommending some high-test gasoline to run through it since it hadn't been run in a while. He got it running in short order. It was a great experience overall. I really appreciate Ryan's willingness to help diagnose the issue and locate the parts to fix it.

I went in looking for hardware that I had no clue what the name of it was. Thomas greeted me, asked me if I need any help and found exactly what I needed. He then recommended their metal cutting services so I can get everything to the right size. I appreciate when my own dad isn’t around I can always go to McGuckin and find someone to help me.

My family's favorite hardware store as long as I can remember. It somehow seems bigger on the inside - if you need it for your house, they probably have it. It's a little pricier than a big corporate chain - but there's a much higher standard for quality, too. It also favors local goods and some cool imports. Definitely worth a look!

This store is a dream come true for all the hardware, kitchen ware, home appliances, garden ware, motorcar ware, and all the other things someone might think or even dream of. Attendants are knowledgeable and kind to answer all the questions and take the customers to the specific isles where the items are or might be. AWESOME!

McGuckins is the best hardware store in the nation. They have a great staff and huge selection of products. They also support local companies. We love their pet department which has several local companies such as Upcycle Dog, Nite-Ize and Walkie-woo.
